Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust

Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (2008)

Sigur Rós is a minimalist slow-motion post-rock band from Iceland. The vocals by Jonsi are in a falsetto and also mostly in his own language, Hopelandic (or Vonlenska). They formed in 1994 in Reykjavik. Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (2008) (translates to "With a Buzz in Our Ears We Play Endlessly") is their most recent album. They have four other studio albums (Von from 1997, Ágætis byrjun from 1999, ( ) from 2002, Takk... from 2005) and a few other albums (Hvarf-Heim from 2007, Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do from 2004, Von brigði from 1998, and a handful more). I adore this band, and this album is fantastic. It's much different than other albums; it's catchy and faster. A common complaint is that they sound like whales, but I think this album is completely un-whale-like.
